Let's see how the clock works, and how to set up and use all its functions:
Functions
- Normal time mode: displays the time, date (2000-2099), week, and can show a 12/24 hour display as desired. The default time is 1 January 2009.
- Alarm clock: in alarm clock mode you can set the daily alarm time and select the alarm sound (2 sounds in total).
- Illuminate display: in the normal state, press the ‘LIGHT’ key to turn on the backlight for 5 seconds.
- Turn on coloured lights: in the normal state, press the key with the light bulb icon to turn on the coloured light that illuminates the board.
Function settings
1. When the batteries are inserted, the ‘normal display status’ is set and plays a sound, indicating that it has just been switched on with the default date, which is 01/01/2009.
2. In the normal display state, press the ‘MODE’ key and you will switch between the ‘Time’ and ‘Alarm’ states (in this case you will see the letters ‘AL’).
If you are in ‘Time’ mode, pressing SET will allow you to set the time and day, with this sequence:
Hours > Minutes > Year > Month > Day
Each time you press SET, each of these elements will flash. And with the Up and Down arrows, you can set the desired value. When finished, the display will also show what day of the week it is.
To configure an alarm, just access the alarm mode by pressing MODE until you see the letters ‘AL’, and then configure when you want the alarm to sound, with this sequence:
Hours > Minutes > Year > Seconds
When the set alarm time is reached, the selected sound will sound every 3 minutes, up to a total of 4 times.
Pressing the LIGHT button will illuminate the clock display for 5 seconds.
In Normal mode, pressing the UP button will switch the time between 12 / 24 hour formats.
By pressing the button with the light bulb icon, the light emitted by the clock (and therefore illuminating the methacrylate plate) will change in this sequence:
Red > Off > Green > Off > Dark blue > Off > Yellow > Off > Violet > Off > Light blue > Off > White > Off > Colour loop > Off
