Differences between each type of development

Traditional gloss development

Traditional matt or gloss development

In this type of matte development, a matte plastic layer is added to cover the photograph. This finish gives a softer color appearance and tends to dull the paper. There are users who think that glossy photographs cause the reflection to divert attention from the image itself, so they opt for this other way.

This is the most used by professional photographers and is the ideal format for artistic photos. It is especially recommended for black and white or not very colorful photos.

Ecological development

Ecological development is a new system that follows a process that leaves no hazardous chemical residues for the environment. The paper used has a silk finish and has all the environmental certificates that accredit it as a 100% ecological product .

The final result is similar to the matte finish, although the quality of the matte finish is one step below the gloss and matte options. However, it is a cheaper development and environmentally friendly.

How to decorate a wall with photos

Every day it is more frequent for people to use their own memories as decorative elements. It is an original and very personal way of decorate your house. There are many ways to decorate with photos, these are some that we want to recommend you to put them into practice:
