Differences between each type of development
If you don't know how to print photos, the first thing you should do is choose the type of developing. You have two different options: traditional development (gloss or matt) and ecological development, the most environmentally friendly.
Let's first get to know the characteristics of each development before choosing the size. Then, depending on which one you have chosen, you will have different image sizes to choose from.
Traditional gloss development
If you choose this type of developing, the images have an added layer of shiny plastic covering the image. This finish adds a lot more gloss to the paper and tends to make the colours look more vivid. In such a way, it provides a sensation of greater spectacularity in the printed images.
It is the finish most chosen by our customers to print their photographs. The result is fantastic and are the most common to add in homemade photo albums.
Traditional matt or gloss development
In this type of matte development, a matte plastic layer is added to cover the photograph. This finish gives a softer color appearance and tends to dull the paper. There are users who think that glossy photographs cause the reflection to divert attention from the image itself, so they opt for this other way.
This is the most used by professional photographers and is the ideal format for artistic photos. It is especially recommended for black and white or not very colorful photos.
Ecological development is a new system that follows a process that leaves no hazardous chemical residues for the environment. The paper used has a silk finish and has all the environmental certificates that accredit it as a 100% ecological product .
The final result is similar to the matte finish, although the quality of the matte finish is one step below the gloss and matte options. However, it is a cheaper development and environmentally friendly.
How to decorate a wall with photos
Every day it is more frequent for people to use their own memories as decorative elements. It is an original and very personal way of decorate your house. There are many ways to decorate with photos, these are some that we want to recommend you to put them into practice:
- Hanging photos with tweezers: use ropes or garlands with lights as a "hanger" and there put your photographs with tweezers. It is one of the forms to hang photos that are more successful in social networks. It looks very good, especially in youth dormitories.
- String frames with photos: reuse old photo frames and add strings inside. There you will be able to hang the images with tweezers and give a new life to that frame. You can paint it another color and sand it to give it a more vintage look. This type of decoration fits very well in the hall or living room.
- Photo mobile: it's a different way to hang photos, so you can fall asleep seeing your precious memories. You can do it with a thread and pass those images you want, or through a more solid structure, such as children's mobiles, in which you can place your favorite images.
- Photo trees: to make this type of decoration, you only have to buy a vinyl shaped like a tree or, if you prefer, you can do it manually with paint. Then in each twig, you will put each photo as a leaf. In halls and corridors this type of decoration fits very well.
