The game Who am I? takes turns, with the aim of each player guessing the character or object on their card by means of ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ questions. Here we explain in detail how to play:
Before starting, each player places a flexible band around his or her head. Make sure the bands are snug but comfortable. Place the deck of cards in the centre of the table, along with the hourglass.
The game starts with the youngest player. If there are several players of the same age, it can be chosen at random who will start. The starting player closes his or her eyes while another player takes the top card from the deck and places it on the starting player's headband. In this way, all players can see the image on the card except the player who must guess.
Once the card is in place, the starting player can open their eyes and start guessing what character or thing is on their card. The hourglass turns over, marking the beginning of the time available to ask questions. There are certain rules when it comes to asking questions:
End of Turn and Continuation: Once time is up or a player has failed to guess, the turn passes to the next player in clockwise order. The game continues in this manner until all players have had their turn several times, depending on the total time you wish to play.
The game ends automatically as soon as a player scores 3 points. That player will be the winner of the game!
